James Joseph Mikyska III, of Brookfield, Illinois, born on September 18, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Sylvia Nebransky Mikyska and the late James Joseph Mikyska Jr, passed away at age 81 on July 29, 2018 in Hinsdale, Illinois.
James attended Morton East for high school. James served in the Army National Guard from 1954 to 1963 and he also worked as a plasterer for his own company J & J Plastering until he retired in 2004.
James was the loving husband of Phyllis Ann Mattes Mikyska. He is survived by his sons, James Joseph Mikyska IV (Susan) and Gary Benson Mikyska; and niece, Donna Meskan.
The memorial service will be private.
