James (Jim) Gordon Lambke age 84, Beloved husband of Ursula (Sue) (Ginocchio) Lambke for 62 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family February 13, 2023. Born January 2, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Henry and Hilma Lambke; devoted and loving father of his four daughters- Laura (Mark) Fassnacht, Lynn (the late Frank) Riley, Jeanne (John) Simons and Ursula (Don) Sharp; cherished grandfather of Lindsey (Johnny), Jimmy, Kevin (Emily), Samantha (Jim), Brianne (Mark), Greg (Yessenia), Kate (Andrew), Maggie (Nathan), Danny, Steven (Kiera), Mary, Peter, Luke, Kate, Grace, and Maria; proud great-grandfather of Avery, Gemma, Ryan, John, Charlotte, Will, Robby and baby Metzger; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jim grew up in Elmwood Park, the youngest of 6 children including the late Marie (Lambke) McGuire, the late Henry (Duke) Lambke, Bernice (Lambke) Fitzpatrick, Irene (Lambke) O'Shea and his late identical twin brother Joe Lambke. He is a graduate of St. Vincent Ferrer where he met his wife in 5th grade, Weber High School and St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, IN.

Jim and Ursula have been parishioners of St. James Parish in Glen Ellyn for 51 years. Jim and his brother Duke co-owned Neon Materials Company until Duke's retirement when Jim became sole owner and later retired after 47 years. He will always be remembered for his faith, family values, friendships, integrity, and fun-loving sense of humor. Jim is an example of a life well lived.

Visitation Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187. Funeral Mass Monday 11:30 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Church, 480 S.
