James L. Bourke, born June 17, 1921 in Chicago. Passed Away: July 4, 2008 at his Downers Grove home. Jim is a 20 year resident of Downers Grove. Formerly of Palos Heights. He is a retired mechanical engineer. Beloved husband of 61 years to Mary. Loving father of Paul (Alina) Bourke, James (Rachel) Bourke, Mary (Barry) Bauman, Robert Bourke, David Bourke and Joseph Bourke. Proud grandfather of 9. Great grandfather of 2. Dear brother of Florence (the late Fred) LaVelle. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
