Jackson Graham Obituary
Jackson "Jack" E. Graham, age 85, of Elmhurst.
Beloved husband of the late Valarie E. nee Sluz; loving father of Dawn and Jack D (married to Trisha Lentine Graham); grandfather of Tannia and John Michael, and Emerson; great grandfather of Aidan; brother of Carmen and Richard; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Jackson was a veteran, serving in the 82nd Airborne, a business owner, a member of the Elks, a member of the American Legion, a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, a coach, a jazz fan, a billiards hotshot, a savvy card player, an outstanding bowler, and a powerful mentor.
Jackson moved to Chicago from Harrisburg, Illinois. He started his family there whom he eventually moved west to Elmhurst in 1969 laying roots for the next 35 years. He savored his friends and family, and loved to share jokes and laughter.
Visitation at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and at Epiphany Ev. Lutheran Church, 314 W. Vallette, Elmhurst from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 11. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
