Dear Amy and the Nowak family:
It is with great sadness that I received the news of Irv's death. I knew your dad for most of my life and probably most of his adult life. As anyone that knew him would echo, Irv was a kindly, gentle, warm, and wonderful man. Irv worked as an accountant for Harvey Lumber Company as a young man and was there when the company was closed perhaps 15 or more years ago. Harvey was owned by members of my family, started by my grandfather in the 1920's and when neighborhood lumber yards ceased to be viable, was closed. Irv was a part of it much of its 60 or 70 year history, and we shared many friends and memories of past days. My prayers for your family and that Irv's memory will be a comfort to you all.
