GLOWKA, IRMA Age 83, of Hamilton, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at 10:23 a.m. in Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born on August 20, 1921 in Cross Plains, Indiana, the daughter of George and Clara (Jacob) Hoffmeyer, being educated in the Indiana schools and graduated from Cross Plains High School in 1938. On June 12, 1943 in St. Stephen Church, she married John A. Glowka and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2003. She had been employed as a cashier at Ontario, Sears and JCPenney's. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Olean, Indiana. She is survived by 2 sons, Thomas (Jean) Glowka and Gerald (Ann) Glowka; 1 daughter, Patricia (David) Denton, 4 grandchildren, Michelle, Jeff, Jerry and Kathy; 10 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Velma Tatman. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband John, sisters Helen Marie Hoffmeyer and Ruth Herring and brother Ralph Hoffmeyer. Funeral Services will be Monday September 20, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home 3950 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Olean, Indiana. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the American Heart Association, Ohio Affiliate P.O.
