Irene L. Valles, age 97, passed away April 20, 2022 in the same house where she was born on August 22, 1924 to the late Edward Kouba and the late Louise Steiner Kouba and was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy. Irene was a loving wife to the late Robert. Dearest mother to their daughter Sandra (David) Christiansen. Caring grandmother to the late Elizabeth Christiansen. Irene was an elementary school teacher for many years in the Hinsdale School District. Irene was happy to visit her native home in Austria. Private services were held. Arrangements by Toon Funeral Home, Downers Grove, IL.
