Cortesi; fond mother of Carolyn Jocius and Robert (Teresa) Cortesi; step-mother of Jean (the late Bill) Pinnella, the late Eileen (Buzz) Johnson and Janet (the late Walter) Novak; grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 23; sister of the late Frank (the late Mary) Buczek, Michael (the late Anne) Buczek and Virginia (Richard) Paulus; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Thursday, May 7, 2015, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, May 8, 2015, 9:00 a.m. To 9:30 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield. Funeral Friday 9:30 a.m. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Irene loved her family and friends. Competitive player of bridge and pinochle.
