Inez Pearson Obituary

Inez Laverne Pearson "Bun" Inez Laverne Pearson, 73, passed away on August 1, 2003 in Draper, Utah.  Laverne was born during the Great Depression on October 22, 1929 in Plainview, TX. As a young girl, she moved with her family to Norwalk, CA. She married Norman Russell Pearson on July 12, 1947. He passed away in 1976.  Laverne raised her four children, Charlotte, Steve, Mike and Nancy, in Norwalk, CA. Her family always came first. Laverne was a very hard-working woman. At 42 Laverne returned to college and obtained her nursing degree. She spent 14 years working as a nurse at Metropolitan Psychiatric Hospital. Laverne moved to Murray, UT in 1994 with her daughter Charlotte and her family. She was a beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and friend. She is survived by two sisters, Elfie and Una; three brothers, Dale, Bob and Don; her four children; grandchildren, Christine, Nancy Ann, Michael, Leanna, and Charlotte Inez, and great-grandson Isaac. She is preceded in death by her husband and sisters, Patsy and Tata.  The family would like to thank the caring and hard-working staff at the Stratford in Draper.
