I worked with Idie and lived in her building. We had lots of great memories with her and Dave and later met Steve. She seemed to disappear and I never saw her again and now I find she has passed. So sorry and offer my sincere condolences to her two children. I believe I´ve only met the older one when she was a baby.

It's bluegrass music, Clippers ballgames, Red White and Boom, Comfest and the energy of a crowd that will always be associated with her.
It's jars filled with pretzels, Big Boy hamburgers, light draft beer, deviled eggs, and baggies of radishes.
It's O'Reilly's and the Blue Danube.
It's sitting on her porch with a cold beer surrounded by beautiful plants after work on a summer afternoon.
Ida was someone special to each one of us in different ways. She was so admirable, but the thing that I loved best, and would shine through as the guiding focus of her being, was the love, concern, and devotion she felt for her two lovely daughters. They both made her so proud. I know that the certainty of her love and confidence in them both has been transformational in their lives and will be with them everyday for the rest of their being. Ida lived a good life, and was loved by so many.... through her beloved daughters her warmth, zest, and love of life will continue.

I met Ida through my friends Cathy and Thom Stewart. We would see each other at seasonal parties. She was always warm and kind. I didn't know her well but she left an impression of caring that I will always remember. I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure Ida has touched many and she will be remembered in loving thoughts.

Ida, I'm so honored to have had you in my life! You were always a shining beacon of positive light. I'm also so happy to have had the opportunity to have visited with you last month and taken you for one more motorcycle ride. Today as your friends and family honor you in Columbus I too will be thinking of the wonderful times we had so long ago!
I know you are up there saying... I got my wings. You so wanted to fly!
You will always be in my heart!

Ida and Katie- It has been years since we have spoken or seen one another but I have so many amazing memories of your mom and you both. All the NSync craziness, some of the best times of my life. Your mom was an amazing woman and I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.

Ida, my friend - you brought so much happiness to my life and to everyone you knew. We were "band buddies" and we shared such a love of live music - but you were the one who put a bounce in my step and a song in my heart. Part of you will always be dancing with me. I love you, my friend.
