Died: July 9, 2025
Ida Mae Hubbard, age 81, of Downers Grove, passed away July 9, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Hubbard, Jr. for a wonderful 35 years. Loving mother of Derrick Hubbard and Dr. Dia (Lamar) Pfleger. Devoted grandmother of Samara, Lamar Jr., Mykael, Landen, and Kingston. Dear niece of Bertha Biddles Price of Detroit, MI. Cherished aunt of Michelle Thomas, Kenny and Keith Hubbard, Jared, Jason, and Chance Miller. Ida was preceded in death by her mother, Izola B. Bell; stepfather, Roosevelt Bell; and brother, William Vann, Jr.
Ida will be remembered for her love of gardening. She was very fond of her grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held 2pm until time of Memorial Service at 5pm on Thursday, July 17th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th Street, Downers Grove. Inurnment private.
