Hubertino Garcia Born: Sept. 18, 1964; Las Jicamas, Mexico Died: Feb. 9, 2014; In Elburn, IL Tino was born on September 18, 1964, in Las Jicamas, Mexico and died Sunday, February 9, 2014, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was loved immensely, by his wife, two children, immediate and extended family, co-workers and friends. Tino 's Journey - Tino grew up on the ranch in Las Jicamas, Mexico where he learned to love the land and animals on it. Tino served in the Mexican Army prior to arriving in the US. Tino came to the United States in the 1980 's. On June 17, 1995, Tino married his soul mate Mary. On April 4, 1997, they were blessed with their first child Murphy Rose. On October 6, 1998, they were blessed with their second child Benjamin Cruz. A few years later, Tino and Mary built their dream home in Elburn, Illinois. Tino continued to build his dream while working full time as an HVAC specialist and running his own landscape business, Family Lawn and Garden Care. In September 2003, Tino became a US citizen. Tino was extremely hard-working, loving, caring, comical and happy man. He loved his family, work, music, food and the great outdoors. But most importantly, he loved helping and making people happy. Tino enjoyed fixing cars, collecting just about anything, fishing, cooking, playing his guitar, making jewelry and other crafts. Tino was always cracking jokes, teasing and trying to put a smile on someone 's face. When he was working, Tino wanted his clients, residents and co-workers to be happy and comfortable. Tino would go out at any time day or night to help someone that was having a problem with a car, furnace, air conditioner or any other emergency. He always put other before himself. Tino was extremely proud of his family, accomplishments and Mexican heritage. He loved sharing stories and everything about his culture. Although we have lost someone so special and dear in our lives, he will always be living in our memory and hearts. Never shall we ever forget how Tino touched this earth with his loving hands. We love you Papi, te queremos mucho. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Murphy; son, Benji; mother, Emperatriz; father, Javier; sisters, Ana and Laura; brothers, Javier, Fernando, Juan de Dios, Guadalupe, Cruz and Hugo; niece, Fernanda; nephews, Christopher and Victor; and an infinite many more. Visitation will be held at Yurs Funeral Home on Friday, February 14, 2014, from 3:00pm-9:00 pm., 1771 West State St., Geneva, IL 60034. Funeral service will be held at St. Galls Catholic Church, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 12:30 pm., 120 W. Shannon St., Elburn, IL 60119. Interment will be at Blackberry Cemetery, Route 47 and Keslinger Rd, Elburn IL.
