Hubert Brown Obituary

Funeral for Hubert “Max” Brown Jr., 63, of Cullman was to be today, July 7, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was to be in Falkville City Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown died Monday, July 5, 2004, at his residence. He was born Aug. 25, 1940, in Cullman to Hubert Max Brown Sr. and Opal Griffin Brown. A graduate of Cullman High School, he received his degree from Florence State College and was a practicing accountant for 40 years, most of those as partner of Butler and Brown Accountants. Max was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Protestant Church and served as treasurer for several years. He also served on the board of the Cullman Regional Medical Center Foundation, Cullman Morgan Counties Water Board and the East Cullman Water System Board.
Survivors include one brother, Charlie Brown of Cullman; two sisters, Peggy (Charles) Ryan of Hanceville and Freda (David) Johnson of Huntsville; a large extended family; and numerous lifelong friends and associates.
