My family has many fond memories of Fr. Barrett. He gave me my first communion at Sts. Peter and Paul in Naperville. Mike Barrett attended St. Francis in Wheaton with 4 members of the Curran family. Please know that all of us extend our deepest sympathy to the Barrett family. The loss of your mom saddens all of us and we are praying for your family. May God bless you and watch over you for all of your days.

Such a dear lady and working friend as we enjoyed our times together at St. James the Apostle Rectory; thought of you often over the years as we travelled to Michigan and now Florida...be at peace friend.

Billie Barrett was a stalwart pillar of the St.James' liturgies and community, raising at least one outstanding Priest during her extra long life always given to the Lord.
