We were back in Chicago in Nov. We stopped to visit the graves of the family including my Aunt Hilda.
We shared the same birthday (Nov. 15) as does my newest daughter in law the mother of our 7th grandchild.

As kids we traveled to Hilda and Ed's for the annual picnic they would have with lots of great food, and contests for us kids like pitching golf balls into bushel baskets scattered around the yard, and there would prizes! In the winter if there was enough snow we were invited out to sled down their gravel road, with hot chocolate and cookies to follow. My warm memories will be with me forever and have a special place in my heart.
I take comfort in knowing you are with the Lord.

Hilda's laugh and light will be missed by all the "Homemaker" Ladies from the county. She was a pioneer in her field and a good friend to all.

I will always remember the LONG LONG car rides from the So. side to way out in the country{Dowerns Grove}for Grandma Schultz's birthday and other such ocasions at Aunt Hilda's home. We climb up in the huge willow trees and play in the big backyard.Uncle Ed always had a few tricks to amaze us with.
