Henry Millner Obituary

Henry E. Millner Henry "Hank" E. Millner, age 69, of Boaz, Wisconsin, died Saturday, November 2, 2013, at his home. He was born on August 30, 1944 in Woodstock, Illinois, the son of Noil and Elsie (Wagner) Millner. He worked lots of jobs, starting out farming for his uncle and aunt. He belonged to a car club, worked at a gas station, and hauled milk. Hank moved to Wisconsin with his brother, Jack, and his family to the Richland Center area. He hauled cattle for Dave Hough. Hank moved to LaFarge, Wisconsin with his brother, Jack, where they farmed for several years. Hank married Deanna Melvin on February 17, 1973. He continued to farm, worked as a mechanic, preferring the older cars and trucks, and hauled milk for Dave Druckery and Earl Nelson. In September of 2013, Hank and Dee moved to the Boaz area, to be caretakers for Gaylord and Irene Downing. During this time, their four children were married and he was blessed with a grandson Hunter. Hank is survived by his wife of 40 years, Dee; Children, Mike and Dawn Melvin of LaFarge, Krystal and Zane Whitehead of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, Jeremy and Jeanette Millner of Elroy, Wisconsin, Cory and Amy Cooper of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; Grandson, Hunter Cooper; Parents-in-law, Charles and Marilyn Melvin of LaFarge; Brothers, Jack and Linda Millner of LaFarge, Roger Millner of Camp Douglas, Wisconsin; Sisters, Sandra Boviall of Sharon, Wisconsin, Darlene and Harvey Roberts of Harvard, Peggy and Richard Pierce of Capron; Aunt, Carol McCormick, special friends, Calvin Wallace, Gaylord and Irene Downing; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Hank was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty and brother-in-law, Charles Boviall. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Seland Huston Funeral Home of LaFarge with Reverend Mark Phillips officiating. Friends may call at the Seland Huston Funeral Home in LaFarge on Wednesday, November 6, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM.
