Helene Star Obituary
Helene A. Star, nee Erckmann. Beloved wife of the late James Star and Leonard Krolik. Loving mother of Roger (Valerie) Star, Daniel (Pamela) Star and Eileen (James) Nicolai. Devoted grandmother of Roger Jr., Melinda, Jeffrey, David, Daniel Jr., Dene and Kimberly. Great-grandmother of Hannah, Clayton, Loegan, Xavier, Carrigan, Kyle, Ryan and Wrigley. Caring sister of Lillian Schmidt.
Helene was past president and 18 year member of the Infant Welfare Organization, 10 year volunteer at Good Samaritan Hospital, member of the Oak Brook and Hinsdale Women's Clubs, the Hinsdale Gourmet Club and the Hinsdale Activities Club.
Visitation begins Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 8:00 am at Adolf Funeral Home, Ltd., 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook and then to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for a 10:00 am Mass. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the charities of your choice would be appreciated.
