Helen was a genuinely good person. She was kind, thoughtful, caring, unassuming, and a good friend. I enjoyed our threatre and luncheon outings. I feel that my life was enriched by her friendship.

Helen's death is a significant loss to the Bethlehem Woods Community. Her dignity, scholarship, gracious welcome to all, uniquely served us with God's grace, genuine Christian concern and a singular moment for each one of us. Her beauty, her humor, her loveliness enhanced the community's character and will impress us always. Thank you, Helen. Our gratitude is given as a comfort to Helen's family and a sign to the universal community of genuine blessing. Peace

Helen and I have not been in touch for awhile but at one time we enjoyed getting together for plays in WesternSprings and other activities. I've known Helen since she and I worked for GreatAmerican Federal Savings and Loan in Oak Park. I remember her collection of sea shells when visiting her home in Oak Park, we shared the fun of collecting them. She was a pleasure to spend time with and will be missed. Marjorie Hayes/Calvert
