William Vogelsang Obituary

VOGELSANG William L. "Bill" William L. "Bill" Vogelsang, 81, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo. He was born December 7, 1926, to Louis and Mary Vogelsang in Ida, Michigan. Bill was a computer programmer at the DeVillbiss Corp. for over 30 years before his retirement. A longtime member of Augsburg Lutheran Church, Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Shirley; daughters, Susan K. Ceparski, Patricia (Marvin) Carey, Jennifer (Matthew) Selmek, and grandchildren, Christopher and Laura Selmek. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Vogelsang. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, where friends are invited to visit from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday. Interment in Toledo Memorial Park.
