Harvey Lund Obituary

I miss Harv more than words can express. Not one day goes by that I don't utilize a skill he taught me. He will always be my hero!

Well one year today Dad since you began your new journey. I miss you so bad. But deep in my heart, I know you are here! Thank you for the flowers that were mysteriously left on my driveway last week. I still feel so blessed to have had you in my life! I owe everything to you! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you! As always "I'm proud as a peacock over you!". Love without end, Lori

...Almost a year.. In my heart you're still "here". I miss you... Always.

I wanted the family to know that I took one of Uncle Harvey's Soup cook books that were being handed out at the wake. In honor of Uncle Harvey I made his Beef Barley soup for a Christmas party we had with friends. The recepie made so much soup that I froze the other half and brought it to the Bears tailgate party for their last game of 2011 season vs Seattle. While the Bears lost our tailgate was very popular as even our neighbors around the tailgate were raving about the soup. See photo below. Even though Harvey isn't technically my Uncle, he'll always be Uncle Harvey to me. He was a good man and will be missed. God bless....

I will greatly miss Harvey. He was like a father to me.
Harvey taught me many things of which I hope to represent his wisdom well.

My "Hero" will be sorely missed and I will always remember the laughter that filled our hearts.

Harvey was a great man and my husband, Jim, and I always looked
forward to seeing him at Lori and Dave's. He always had a good story
to tell and these were not just stories, but things that actually happened in his life. Please accept our sympathy and if there is
anything we can do to help you please let us know.
