Harry Olson Obituary

HARRY S. OLSON Harry S. Olson, age 85, passed away Wednesday, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He served in the United States Army in Japan. Mr. Olson worked at Argonne National Lab for many years, was a golf instructor, and retired from Met Life in 1983. He was an avid golfer and began playing at the age of five. Mr. Olson enjoyed photography and had traveled to over forty countries. Survivors include his children, Garry (Phyllis) Olson of Roselle, Illinois, Gregory Olson of Downers Grove, Illinois; Elizabeth Ann (Bob) Kasper of Statesboro; step daughter, Sydney McMenemy; four grandchildren, Robert and Michael Kasper, Stacy Scandiffio, and Kathryn McMenemy; and one great grandchild, Shannon Scandiffio. Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
