Age 69 of Wilmington, formerly Lemont, IL, Kentucky and North East Iowa, passed away at 7:30 p.m. on Monday October 31, 2022 at his home.
Born October 29, 1953 in Joliet, IL, a son to Sharrell and Veronica (Beck) Tash. Harold was raised and educated in Lemont, graduating with the Class of 1971. After High School he enlisted and honorably served in the United States Air Force. After his military service Harold worked construction for many years. He enjoyed woodworking in his spare time and loved spending time with his four-legged companion Rizzo.
Survivors include his mother Veronica Tash of Wilmington, IL; two children David (Ciera) Tash and Cathwren Tash both of Anamosa, IA; three grandchildren: Braxton and Athena Seely and Addilynn Tash; four siblings: William (Karen) Tash of LaGrange Park, IL, Cheryl Anne (Dennis) Jaicomo of Essex, Michael Tash of Cresco, IA and Thomas Tash of Wilmington, IL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his father Sharrell, one grandchild Atlas and one brother George.
Visitation will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington, IL on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 11:00 am until 2pm. Graveside services with military honors will immediately follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL at 2:30 pm.
Preferred memorials in Harold's memory may be made to the family for their distribution.
