Our hearts are heavy with sadness for you and your family, Kathy. This is so much for you to bear in such a short span of time. Please know that we hope our prayers hold you up and give you the strength to face the coming days and weeks. You now have three strong men and your loving mom to support you from heaven. God bless you as you bear this burden.

Dear Kathy, I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved Father. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Your Dad was an amazing man. He always remained true to himself -- fiercely independent and so courageous. He was very appreciative of his family and enjoyed every minute of the time he was able to spend with you. I know he treasured the nightly phone calls. The last time I had the opportunity to visit with him was when he was with you in Florida at the Safety Harbor Spa. I can see him sitting peacefully, very contentedly smoking his pipe. That's how I will remember him.

With great sadness our family mourns the loss of our dear father and grandfather, Harold Seebert, who left us on March 31 after a brief illness. A proud World War II veteran, Dad led a long and happy life that was grounded on placing his family first. Despite the pain of losing my mother and both of my brothers before fearlessly facing his own death, Dad remained a tower of strength for his family until the very end of his life. Dad's passing is the second death in our family within the past month, as we also recently lost my brother Gary on March 4. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time for us.

In times of loss, it's hard to know the right things you say. We hope our presence will bring you comfort. Know that our thoughts and prayers will be with you in the weeks to come. And we are here for you in practical ways as you navigate the road ahead.
There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.
