Harold Lichty Obituary
Born in Tuscarawas, Ohio to the late Oliver and Myrtle (Parrish) Lichty, he served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was the owner of Lichty Insurance Agency in Akron, Ohio. Memberships include Wayfarer Lodge #789 F.&A.M. in Akron, Tadmor Shrine, and was Past Worthy Patron of Ellet Chapter O.E.S. Harold was an avid antique car enthusiast. He was a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club of Ohio Region, and the A.A.C.A. Canton Chapter.
Preceded in death by his wife, Nancy in 2006, he is survived by his sons, Robert C. and Patrick M. Lichty; grandsons, Christopher C. and Curtiss C. Lichty; three great-granddaughters, Aubrey, Briana, and Aria Lichty; and sister, Isabelle Denzer.
Service will be Monday at 11 a.m. graveside at Sharon Moravian Cemetery, Tuscarawas, Ohio. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Schneeberger Funeral Home, where Wayfarer Lodge #789 will conduct Masonic service at 2:45 p.m. Sign the guestbook at www.schneebergerfuneral.com. HAROLD AND ME WENT BACK TILL 1991 WHEN I JOINED THE STUDEBAKER CLUB. HE WAS ALWAYS A VERY KIND AND NICE PERSON. WHO HAD A DEAP LOVE FOR STUDEBAKER & OTHER CARS. HAROLD WILL BE MISSED BY MANY. R..I.P. HAROLD, YOUR WIFE IS WAITING FOR YOU IN HEAVEN.

Lichty Family,
My sympathy to your entire family for the loss of your beloved Dad, Grandfather, and Great-Granddad. I fondly remember his love for his family, neighbors, friends and cars. Thanks be to God for his service to our Nation. We remember the enjoyable times in the difficult days ahead.

Dear Pat, Rob, and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am so blessed to have known your dad all my life. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I have so many great memories of your parents...from the summer days we spent at their campsite to zipping down their driveway on a sled or skateboard. We will miss him.
