Dearest Gwenda and Tim, I only knew about Harold from what you told me in our e-mails but we have shared so many other thoughts and I am so sorry for your loss. There will be bright days ahead, he will see to that. Our prayers and thoughts go out to you and your wonderful family. With much love to you all, Aloha, Valerie and Roger (and the kittens! almost brand new, 6 mos old now) Hugs to all. Valerie

Dear Janice and family
So sorry of your loss of Harold whom I know you have spent the best years of your life with. He came from a wonderful family and was a wonderful human being. He was a hard working man and I always thought of you and him whenever I came to Laingsburg or drove by your home in Laingsburg. I think the one thing I remember is the barn across the road. Of course that is gone now, but remember it when I would go past it when I was younger. I enjoyed the time when Mother and I spent our lunch time together with you and Harold in the resturant across from where my mother lived on one of my visits back to Michigan. We had some interesting conversation. He is at peace and May God Bless him and you and your family. Edith

Dear Janice and Family,
We are deeply sadden to hear of Harold's passing.
I will miss seeing him on the porch this summer, he always waved as I was speeding by on an errand. I came to look forward to his friendly wave and smile. He sure had a way of making you feel special.
May God's garden grow brighter now that his light shines on.
With deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Hurst Family,
We loved Harold very much. He was one of the kindest people that we have ever known. He was a wonderful example of the Catholic faith and practiced it by example in his everyday life. We will miss him greatly, and our lives are richer for having known him. Much love and prayers to you all.

Dear Janice and family,
I was so sorry to learn that Harold had passed away this past weekend.
I will miss him very much.
He always had a smile and a hug for me.
The last time I saw him I asked how he was doing and was surprised when he answered back.
His voice was just above a whisper.
He told me he was okay but wanted his voice back.
He has it back now.
Love to all and my condolences,
Linda Van Buren
