Harold Bonus Obituary
Harold W. Bonus, DDS, MS, 75, beloved husband of Carol L. (nee Vavrina). Loving father of Maria L. and Kurt W. Son of the late Dr. Vincent L. and the late Virginia (nee Barys). Loving brother of Vincent L., Dr. Robert L. (late Mary Ann), and Dr Roger M. (Gayle). Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his sister, Charmaine V. Bonus.
Harold graduated from Fenwick H.S., Oak Park, IL, Providence College, Providence, RI, Univ. of Illinois College of Dentistry, Chicago, where he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and a Master of Science Degree of Pediatric Dentistry. In addition he instructed future dentists in the field of Pediatric Dentistry. During the Vietnam War, he served with the Commission of Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corp. at the Army Headquarters in Heidelberg, West Germany. After discharge from the Army, Harold established his dental practice in Glen Ellyn, where he served the community over 35 years. Harold was a member of several dental organizations.
Donations may be made in Harold's name to St. Labre Indian School, P.O. Box 216, Ashland, MT 59003 or Mass intentions.
