I was so sorry to hear of Mr. McNair's death. He and I had been corresponding since my own parents' deaths in the last few years. From my childhood I remember Mr. McNair as a kind and gentle person, and I know my parents, Ann and Al Walter, thought of him as a great friend. My mom particularly enjoyed receiving the old pictures he had been sending her. I send the family my heartfelt condolences.
