Grace C. Perkins, 81, of Oregon, died Sunday Nov. 30, 2014 at Serenity Hospice Home, Oregon. Grace was born Oct. 18, 1933 in Baltimore, MD, the 5th girl and 9th child of Timothy & Josephine (Gaherty) Behegan. She married Floyd N. Perkins in Elmhurst, IL on July 25, 1968. She was a talented seamstress. She loved quilting, cross-stich, and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Oregon and the Catholic Daughters of America. More than anything, Grace relished time with her family and supportive, fun-loving friends.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd; sons, William (Nancy) Perkins of Batavia, Timothy (Patty) Perkins of Naperville, and Robert Perkins of Leland, IL; grandchildren, Bill, Tyler, Allison, Kelly, & Emily; sister, Beatrice O'Shea of CA; and brothers, Newton (Ann) Behegan of Baltimore and Frank Behegan of CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Tim, Mary, Joe, Ann, and Dan.

Christian funeral mass will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., in St. Mary Catholic Church, 301 N. 4th St., Oregon with Rev. Joseph Naill officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Serenity Hospice and Home, Oregon, IL.
