She enjoyed life and loved to travel. She was faithful to her church. She was a loving wife and was loved by all who knew her; she will be sadly missed. She was blessed with wonderful friends who helped so much during her illness and who were her traveling companions: Bea Johnson, Myrtle Radford, Katherine Everhart, Betty Jo Tate, Nancy Everette and Pat Rice. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 23, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with the Rev. Joey Jennings officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, March 22, at the funeral home.
