Gordon Renn Obituary

Gordon Renn, 77, of Lyons, passed away on April 25, 2009 at the University of Chicago Hospital in Chicago, IL. Mr. Renn served in the Navy during the Korean War on the USS-Pasig, AW-3 and USS Dixie AD-14 ships. He served in many offices over the years for Zion Lutheran Church. He was class of 1932. Mr. Renn worked at DoBoer Inc Chemical in Woodridge for 52 years as a plant manager. He worked at Pelron Corporation Chemical Plant, mixing chemicals from 1949-1951. He is the dearest husband of Carolyn nee Kodl; loving father of the late Bonnie Kelly; fond brother of Darrell (Beverly) Renn, Marilyn (late Harry) Corbin, late Robert (late Elis) Renn; grandfather of Jennifer and Michael Kelly; and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation was Tuesday, April 28, from 3-8 p.m. at Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 S. Joliet Ave., Lyons, IL 60534. Funeral Wednesday at 10 a.m. from funeral home to Zion Lutheran Church. Interment in Mt. Auburn, Stickney.

Dear Carolyn,
