Glenn Parsons Obituary
Glenn C. Parsons, 80, died Oct. 12, 2004.
An area resident all his life, he served in the Navy during both World War II and the Korean War. He was retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co., and was a member of Victory Lodge 649 F&AM, the American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Glenn espe cially enjoyed meeting with the Breakfast Club at the Waterloo Restaurant.
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Barberton Citizens Hospital for all their care.
Preceded in death by his sister, Jean Fisher, he is survived by brother-in-law, Stanley Fish er of Canton; nephew, David Fisher of Akron; niece, Laura Midcap of Canton; and special friend, Marlene.
Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside service to be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Section N of Greenlawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Howard Powell officiating. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Rd., Peninsula, Ohio 44264. (Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, Family Owned, 330-745-3131.)
