Gladys S. Diadato, 86, a lifelong Utica resident passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the St. Lukes Home. She was born in Utica on December 9, 1925, the daughter of John and Agnes Zaga Rozyla and attended local schools. On November 19, 1949 she married Adam Diodato in St. Josephs Church, Utica; a loving union shared for over 63 years. Gladys was employed with the Bendix Corp. for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph St. Patricks Church. She is survived by her beloved husband, Adam, of Utica; a brother, John, and his wife, Landa Rozyla, of Utica; and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Clara Gambino, and her brother, Stanley Rozyla. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph St. Patricks Church. There are no calling hours. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 1156 Lincoln Avenue, Utica. Light a Candle at: www.kowalczyk funeralshomes.com
