Gertrude Benefield Obituary
Gertrude W. Benefield, age 95; of Downers Grove, IL, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side.
Beloved wife of the late Carl W. Benefield; loving mother of Carla Benefield, Barbara (David) Dutch, and the late Patricia Anne Benefield; cherished grandmother of Tara (Marc) Pavlik, Trent (Jessica) Bugarewicz, Wade Bugarewicz, Nora Dutch and Will Dutch; dear great-grandmother of Breanna, Brandon, Sydney, Austin, Casey, Derek, and McKenzie; dearest sister of June (the late Herschel) Baldwin; preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alma Wiedemann; and her siblings, Evelyn (the late Jack) Evans, Chuck Wiedemann, and Sue (Calvin) Goodwin.
Gertrude, a retired employee of Commonwealth Edison, was an avid golfer and bridge player.
