Gerry Gettelfinger Obituary

FLOYDS KNOBS GETTELFINGER, GERRY (SCOTT), 77, died peacefully at her home Thursday January 15, 2009. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Irvin Gettelfinger. Gerry was an exuberant woman whose love of life, family and friends will be cherished and treasured by all who knew her. She was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Scott, born February 8, 1931 in Floyd County, IN and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany, IN. Survivors include: sons, Dale Gettelfinger (Donna) and Michael Gettelfinger (Jan); daughters, Sandy Libs (Gary), Marcia Bickers (Rex), Lisa Heck (Keith), Jan Huber (Greg), Jill Coan (Bob) and Amy Huber (Tom); brother, Russell Scott (Sharon); grandchildren, Jessica Lange (Aaron), Jeremy Gettelfinger (Amanda), Jenna Gettelfinger, Joanna Gettelfinger, Jeff Libs (Cara), Tricia Huber (Chris), Tracy Jansen (Svend), Trudy Betourne (Andy), Megan Rose (Josh), Paige Shotts (Steven), Alex Gettelfinger, Lindsey Bock (Dan), Whitney Bickers, Kelsey Bickers, Ashley Heck, Ben Heck, Jon Heck (Carrie), A.J. Huber, Marcella Huber, Allie Huber, Amanda Coan, Bobby Coan, Morgan Huber, Taylor Huber and Ryan Huber; and great-grandchildren, Griffin, Reece, Zoe, Sterling, Garrett, Stella, Xavier, Sofie, Sadie and Grace. Visitation will be at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, 3-8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2009, at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Bradford, IN.
