My thought and prayers are with all. It was great having such a nice neighbor like Gerry when I was growing up next door in woodridge. Lots of great blockparty memories in Gerry's front lawn and driveway!

I had hoped to make it to the cemetery this morning but that didn't work out. I wanted to tell all of you that your mom and dad were two of the finest people I have known. Just last week Anne Hannan asked me if I knew anything about your mother, and I told her I regretted that I hadn't seen or talked to her for sometime. I know what a close family you were, and I know your loss is great. Just know that I am thinking of all of you and hoping that your memories will sustain you through these difficult times.
