Dear Florence, I was so sorry to hear about your husband's passing. It is so hard to lose someone that close to you. You were a great support when my own husband passed away. I'm just a call away if you want to talk. I mean that sincerely. Take care of yourself.

Forshey Friends, Fans and Family: Jerry was an uncommon human being. Whether in the pulpit or classroom, whether facing down a politician or bishop, whether counselling with family or friend, or walking the picket line for peace Jerry offered insight and challenge, decency and courage. Even in his last 5 year battle against the scourge of cancer he lived with resilience and compassion; he danced with Zorba; he tilted windmills. Jerry Forshey defined Mensch.

Florence,

Gerry was such a good friend to my husband Joe while they both attended the Wellness House. It was so nice to get to know both of you. I have very fond memories of Gerry, and am so very sorry for your loss.
