Forshey Friends, Fans and Family: Jerry was an uncommon human being. Whether in the pulpit or classroom, whether facing down a politician or bishop, whether counselling with family or friend, or walking the picket line for peace Jerry offered insight and challenge, decency and courage. Even in his last 5 year battle against the scourge of cancer he lived with resilience and compassion; he danced with Zorba; he tilted windmills. Jerry Forshey defined Mensch.
