Born November 1, 1939 died September 15, 2003; age 63 of Butler, formerly of Plum; brother of Paul F. Whalen, Margaret A. "Peg" Whalen-Dougherty, Rita I. Ryan and husband James, and the late Mary G. Kim; also survived by two nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Christian Church of Wilkinsburg, 748 Wallace Avenue, Friday 1 p.m. Arrangements SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES LTD., ROTH CHAPEL 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Rd.)
