As one of Georges ODB's I offer my sympathies to Mickey and Family. Geo was a friend for 67 years commencing in WW2. Always in a good humor and often with a joke or a quip, he will never be forgotten. I am unable to make the funeral due to weather and distance but my prayers are with you. bill west

My prayers are with you. George was a great man and accomplished much. I was a neighbor to George for the last 7 years at his place of business and always enjoyed knowing him.

Mrs. Shaw and family,

We are sorry to here of your loss. Mr. S was a kind and gentle man that our family holds very fond memories of. He was nice enough to let me purchase one of my very favorite cars. A beautiful 1970 silver Buick GS. He told me that the GS was for George Shaw! He will be missed, but always remembered!

It was always such a treat to see George and Mickey. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see them at Marty's wake even though the circumstances were sad. There are many happy memories spending time in Glen Ellyn with the Shaw family. George was always so gracious and had a great smile...ever the salesman but you knew he was genuine. He will be missed.

George's funeral service will take place on SATURDAY 11 a.m. at the Leonard Memorial Home. George would laugh at this little snafu, and tell us that it'll be all right.
