Freda H. Mullen, age 92, a resident of Downers Grove for 61 years.
Beloved wife of the late Walter (1979). Loving mother of Richard and Ruth Anne Harenchar, son-in-law Tom . Cherished grandmother of Sara and Matthew Harenchar. As well as step-grandmother of Jill Wilkens, Michael Harenchar and Betsy O'Neill. Devoted great grandmother of Tyler and Grace Wilkens also Andrew, Ryan, Scott and Katherine O'Neill. Caring sister of 9, dear aunt of numerous nieces and nephews
Freda was a devout member of Faith United Methodist Church in Downers Grove. A long time officer with the local AARP
Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2016, 1:00 pm until Services 3:00 pm at Toon Funeral Home 4920 Main Streets Downers Grove. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery Darien IL

Sorry that I didn't know of your mom's (and our dear friend) passing until today when I tried calling her. We have many fond memories of times spent with her as well as with both your parents. I (Pat) bowled with your dad in a church league and the four of us had many card games together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will miss her. Love, Pat and Bob Paulsen
