Fred Drafke Obituary

Fred W. "Fritz" Drafke, 86, passed away at his home in Lemont October 1, 2009. Lifetime resident of Lemont he was a veteran of WW II United States Army. Proud member of Lemont VFW Post #5819. Retired Supervisor from Corn Products Co. Avid outdoorsman. Survived by his loving wife of 62 years Margaret nee Koski; daughters Shirley (Daniel) Phillips of Lemont and Joan (Michael) Hoffman of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Daniel, Justin, Brooke, Cassie Robert and Nicole; great grandchildren, Zachary, Aiden, Madison and Bella; brothers, Bernard, Raymond and Alvin; sister Lorraine Duchnowski and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son Robert; his parents Fred and Ida and five sisters. Funeral mass was held Monday Oct. 5, 2009 at St. Alphonsus Church followed by interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
