Frank Pienkowski Obituary

Frank C. Pienkowski, 81, died September 13, 2008, Indianapolis, IN. Frank was a veteran of WWII having served with the Army's 19th Field Artillery Battalion. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W., active with the Addison Post #7446. He worked in the printing business for many years and later worked for the City of Elmhurst, IL and eventually retired from a position with the Village of Addison, IL. He was a 45 year resident of Addison, IL. Frank is survived by his daughter, Lynn (Douglas) Pels, grandchildren, USAF SSgt. Jim, Robbie, Leeann and Sharyl; sister, Emily (Berenda); and brother, Victor. Frank is preceded in death by his loving wife, Frieda (DeLuca); sister, Sally (Balducci); and brothers, John, Matt, Stanley, Vince and Walter. Funeral Mass will be celebrated September 27, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 1223 W. Holtz Ave., Addison, IL. Interment will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
