Beloved husband of the late Henrietta "Etta", nee Halacka; loving father of Karen (Bill) Franzen and Kenneth (Vivian) Pasek; grandfather of Matthew (Katie) Campbell, Aubrey (Matthew) Wentz, Andrew A. (Kendra) Pasek, Christianna (Aaron) Lammers, and Kathryn (Isaac) Groenendyk; step-grandfather of Seth, Barney, and Joshua Franzen; great-grandfather of Ethan and Charles Campbell, Layla Wentz, and Brianna and Elijah Pasek; step-great grandfather of Ben Franzen.
Preceded by one sister; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 blks. S. of Roosevelt) Lombard, IL. Funeral Friday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m., at the funeral home. Entombment Woodlawn Cemetery.
