Beloved husband of Sally( nee Gorecki). Devoted father of Diane Murray( Dietmar Sittek) and Jennifer Murray. Grandfather of Benjamin Murray Patti. Loving uncle of many nephews and nieces.
Funeral Friday, November 14, 2014, 9:30 a.m. from Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 W. Cermak Rd. Berwyn to St. Odilo Church Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection cemetery, Justice, IL. Visitation Thursday, November 13, 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Murray.. You were like a second father to me growing up, and I will never forget the wonderful memories I have of you, I am so thankful that I have the honor of saying that I knew you, I will never forget you and my dad playing chess for hours, you are my dads' dearest friend and will be missed greatly, my mother will never forget "Johnny apple seed". I am so sad that you are gone, but am grateful that you are at peace, Heaven is so lucky to have you. I love you Mr. Murray and I will never forget you. Love always, Vickie Rose (Dahl).
