Frances Herrera Obituary

Frances Herrera, 94, of Ontario, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2008. She was born in Mexico, raised in Kansas City and was a longtime resident of Guasti and Ontario for over 80 years. She was a member and past Treasurer of The Sociedad Progresista Mexicana, Inc., Ontario and Sociedad de Obreros Mexicana Independiente, Inc. Frances is survived by her daughter, Vera Solorio of Sacramento; two sons, Frank Herrera Jr. of Upland and Rudy Herrera of Pasadena; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank and daughter, Connie. The family would like to thank the staff of Community Extended Care Hospital of Montclair for taking good care of Frances. Visitation will be Thursday, September 18th from 5-8 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Draper Chapel, Ontario. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 19th at St. George's Catholic Church. Draper Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
