Florence Bengala Obituary

Florence Bengala (nee Marasco), 85, of LaGrange, passed away February 2, 2009 at home. She was a retired candy dipper for Mrs. Cittler's Candies in Cicero and also Carrousel Candies in Cicero and Fannie Mae Candies in Cicero. Visitation is Friday, February 6, 2009 from 3 until 9 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th Street, Countryside. Funeral will be held on Saturday, February 7th, with a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Cletus Church in LaGrange. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Brooks; grandson, Peter Nowaczynski; brothers, Joseph (the late Frances) Marasco and Felix (Elaine) Marasco; aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, the late Peter Bengala. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 2700 Patriot Blvd., S100, Glenview, IL, 60026 in memory of her late husband, Peter Bengala, would be appreciated.
