Flora Hesselgrave Obituary

Died: May 22, 2023 in Naples, FL
Flora "Flo" Hesselgrave, 97, formally of Indian Head Park & La Grange Park, IL passed away peacefully May 22 in Naples, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Hesselgrave. Flo was a loving mother to the late James Hesselgrave and is survived by her children, Daniel (Karen) Hesselgrave, John (Peggy) Hesselgrave, Beth (Shawn) Bergemann, LeeAnn (Dan) Lattimore, Julie (Tom) Lannon and William (Laura) Hesselgrave. She was a devoted grandmother of 16 and a cherished great grandmother of 16. She was also a fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Flo loved baking cookies, golfing, swimming and practicing water aerobics.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association in Flora's name.

I will never forget my wonderful aunt Flo. Spending some summers with her and her children up in Illinois.
She was like a mother to me. I will never forget all the wonderful times we all had together. And the Hesselgrave reunion´s in Indianapolis.

My greatest sympathy for all the Hesselgrave family. My prayers for your strength and comfort. "Mrs. Hesselgrave" was a kind neighbor who endured the ruckus of living next door to the Lang gang, and always treated us gently with a beautiful smile. My memories of her bring joy and happiness to my day. Much love from Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
