I learned of Evelyn's death just now when my Christmas card to her was returned. I've known her since 1966 when I married Fred Evert Jr. and Evelyn worked for Fred Sr. at Downers Grove Realty. She cared for her mother so faithfully, and was so proud of Eugene, Ambrose & their families. She was extremely trustworthy in helping my mother-in-law Margaret with her finances. When younger and healthy, Evelyn was right there to help all the Everts. Her faith saw her through many concerns, and I feel blessed to have called her "friend". I feel a very human sadness today, but I do look forward to seeing her in the new and perfect life God has prepared for all his faithful ones.
