Evelyn Nottelmann Obituary

Evelyn Nottelmann Evelyn Marie Chant Nottelmann, of Lombard, born in Elmhurst, wife of the late O. Robert Nottelmann, and former wife of the late Everett F. Seegers, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2013 one week after her 89th birthday. She is survived by her loving children, Marcia Seegers, Greg Seegers, and Diane Kafka; beloved granddaughter, Codi Crystal Seegers, and treasured sisters, Margarita Papandreou, Marcella (George) Clemmer, Joanne (Alan) Lisle, and preceded in death by the late Patricia (Carl) Snider. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Evelyn was a beautiful, personable, and loving woman who was known for keeping up with the times. "Evie" was a major participant in many aspects of her Elmhurst community, an avid golfer, a long standing member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, and graduated with an Associates Degree in Counseling. She encouraged her children to always seek out knowledge and experiences, generated sensitive healing support for those going through divorce and abuse, and loved to entertain and bring joy to others. Memorial Services, 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1st Congregational United Church of Christ, 235 S. Kenilworth, Elmhurst, followed by a reception .
