Evelyn S. Hazle, age 74, passed away September 18, 2011. Beloved daughter of the late Lida K. (nee Gaines) and George W. Gentry; loving mother of Kathy Lamando, Sandra McWhorter, Linda (Tony) Farley, Pamela (Oscar) Diaz and Mike (Rebecca) Fields; cherished grandmother of Shawna, Aaron (Marleny) and Dillon Lamando, Stephanie and Bobby Johnson, Dustin (Tiffany) Jezuit, Sandra Fields, Tanner Warren and Samantha, Sabrina and Jessica Diaz; great-grandmother of Jayden and Mariah Lamando, Brook Salomoun and Alayna Jezuit; sister of Maxine (Doc) Hembree, Eugene Gentry and the late Emmitt, Joe Walker and Howard Gentry and Dolly Payne; loved one of Monroe Fields; also many cherished nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation was held Thursday, September 22nd from 3-9 P.M. at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 23rd at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M.
