The world has surrendered a beautiful soul, Evanthia Vasilion, nee Manolas of Downers Grove, age 85.
Beloved wife of the late James; loving mother of Steven (Laura), Linda (Angelo) Mistretta and John (Bonnie); proud grandmother of Laura Ann (Jen), James, Dena (Joel), Katherine, Graham, Christine, Gregory, Zachary and Lolly; great-grandmother of Atlas; dear sister of Irene, Ted, the late Goldie, Jack, George, Kay, Joe and Penny.
Family and friends will meet on Friday, August 5, 2016 for 9:30 am visitation at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 2501 S. Wolf Rd. Westchester until time of Funeral Service 10:00 am. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Feed My Starving Children, 401 93rd Ave. NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433 (wwwfmsc.org) appreciated.

Rest in peace dear co-worker and friend. We shared alot of laughs and I will definitely miss your spunky spirit. Steve, Linda, John and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Family meant everything to your mom. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
